VSSL 2015 Holiday Haul a Big Success

This year’s event was one of the most successful events we’ve held in quite some time. We had over 70 people pack Station Street’s common room and handed out dozens of presents to players and their children. Even more heartening was that many of our players brought their families who got to enjoy a smorgasbord of tasty turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, casseroles, salads and treats prepared by players Rik, Demitri and Dustin and our friends from Temple Sholom. We even lucked out with some tasty guacamole to round out the evening (thanks Robin!).

12301516_10153760277815320_6475698470119516610_nOn top of all of that, we managed to blow past our original fundraising goal of $1000 and raised over $1500 which will go straight to soccer equipment, soccer trips and food at practices.
